The AAP had Tuesday accused the BJP over the issue saying it was trying to divert attention of people from the nationwide protest by the farmers.

आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) ने आंदोलनरत किसानों पर अपनी टिप्पणी के लिए भाजपा नेता वीके सिंह पर कटाक्ष किया, उन्होंने उनसे पूछा कि क्या उन्हें किसानों की तरह दिखने के लिए हल और बैलों के साथ आना चाहिए। उससे पहले, भाजपा नेता ने टिप्पणी की थी कि सेंट्रे के विवादास्पद फार्म कानूनों के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन करने वाले हजारों लोग किसान नहीं थे।

“तस्वीरों में कई लोग किसान नहीं दिखते। किसानों के हित में क्या किया गया है। यह उन किसानों के लिए नहीं है जिन्हें इस (कृषि कानूनों) की समस्या है, लेकिन अन्य। विपक्ष के अलावा, कमीशन पाने वाले लोग इसके पीछे (विरोध) हैं, ”समाचार एजेंसी एएनआई ने मंगलवार को वीके सिंह के हवाले से कहा।

The AAP had Tuesday accused the BJP over the issue saying it was trying to divert attention of people from the nationwide protest by the farmers. “BJP is clueless about how to handle the nationwide protest by farmers and is therefore hopelessly trying to divert attention of the public,” it had said in a statement.

Farmers demand is that they should get MSP (minimum support price) whether inside or outside mandi which AAP supports, the statement had added.

The Centre on Tuesday had appealed to the agitating farmers to suspend their ongoing protests and come for the second round of talks on December 3 (Thursday).
